Our favourite snack of the moment, the Mouna: a traditional orange blossom brioche made for Easter. We play the overtime by twisting it with our organic orange marmalade. Let's go for the recipe! The ingredients - 1 kg of flour- 40 g baker's yeast - 4 eggs- 150 g butter- 300 g caster sugar- 1 pinch of salt- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar - 1 tablespoon orange blossom water- 2 organic oranges and 1 organic lemon- 8 cl oil- 1/2 glass of milk - 1 jar of organic sweet orange marmalade The steps of the recipe Melt the butter and let it cool. Let the milk cool down and mix in the baker's yeast and leave to rest. In a large bowl, mix the whole eggs, sugar, melted butter, oil, lemon zest, orange zest, orange juice, a pinch of salt, flour and the diluted yeast. You can use a food processor and its dough hook. The dough should come away from the edges of the bowl of the food processor. If you do this by hand, the dough should no longer stick. Leave the dough to rest for at least six hours and then degas it by hand. Form a ball and place it on your baking sheet covered with baking paper. Cover it with a clean cloth and let it rest again. Preheat your oven to 180 degrees. Brush your ball of dough with egg yolk using a pastry brush. Bake your brioche for 45 minutes in the oven preheated to 180 degrees. For tasting, cut the slices thick enough and serve them with a little organic sweet orange marmalade. Delicious!
