Our secret? A subtle touch of Royal Raspberry, Orange Mango Passion Fruit and Tonka Dark Chocolate spread to surprise your guests.
The ingredients
- 250g flour
- 125g soft butter
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 100g caster sugar
- Our Royal Raspberry jam
- Our Orange Mango Passion Fruit jam
- Our Tonka Dark Chocolate spread
- Icing sugar for the finishing touch
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
Put the flour in a bowl and make a well in the centre. Add the sugar, 1 pinch of salt and the egg. Mix well.
Gradually add the butter cut into cubes. Mix well between each addition of butter.
Form the dough into a ball and leave to rest for two hours in the refrigerator.
Roll out the dough with a rolling pin. Cut out stars using a cutter, and cut a smaller star out of the centre of every other one.
Place the stars on your baking tray lined with baking paper.
Bake for 10 minutes at 170 degrees.
Once the stars are out of the oven and have cooled, it's time for the jam! Gently spoon a teaspoon of Royal Raspberry or Orange Mango Passion Fruit jam or Tonka Dark Chocolate spread onto the centre of the whole stars and place the cut-out stars on top.
For the finishing touch and a snowy feel, sprinkle over a little icing sugar.
Enjoy!
