Ingredients
Instructions
- Pour 250g of flour into a mixing bowl, then add the eggs one by one.
- Warm 1 litre of semi-skimmed milk: this will stop lumps from forming.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and a further 250g of flour.
- Add a pinch of salt.
- Leave the batter to rest for an hour at room temperature.
And there you have it, ready to cook.
On your marks, get set, crêpe!
Why choose an artisanal jam for your crêpes?
We are often asked: "Is it really better for you?" The answer is in the jar!
Choosing an artisanal jam from La Chambre means first of all choosing a less processed product. Where industry uses glucose syrups and synthetic flavourings, we favour whole fruit, picked when ripe, and a slow cooking that preserves the natural vitamins and antioxidants.
It is a cleaner pleasure, with no needless additives, where sugar is not there to mask the taste but to bring out the natural aromas of our regions.
Our perfect pairings for an unforgettable Candlemas
To turn your teatime into a gourmet experience, here are our suggested pairings:
The classic, revisited: spread your warm crêpe with our Apricot & Orange Blossom. The heat of the crêpe releases the floral notes for an instant trip to the Mediterranean.
The bold one: try the Royal Raspberry with Champagne. The airy texture of the crêpe underlines the finesse of the champagne and the zing of the raspberry.
The comforting one: for the sweet-toothed, our Strawberry Tonka preparation brings vanilla and almond notes that recall the desserts of our childhood.
The chef's tip: do not overload your crêpe! A thin layer of artisanal jam is enough, because the fruit content is far more concentrated than in an ordinary jam.
And you, which pairing will be your favourite this year?
