Petits sablés de Noël
Make way for our Christmas shortbread cookies! Lightly golden, deliciously crispy, and decorated by our little kitchen elves. These cookies are a perfect way to entertain our children and grandchildren and enjoy delightful moments with them.
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 180°C.
In a bowl, whisk the softened butter, sugar, and salt until smooth, then add the egg and mix well.
Gradually add the flour until you obtain a smooth dough that does not stick. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough thinly and cut out circles. Pierce one circle with a smaller cutter.
Arrange the dough on a baking sheet and bake for 12 to 15 minutes.
Let cool. Dust the top (perforated circles) of your cookies with powdered sugar before assembly. Spoon a generous amount of jam.
Arrange beautifully on a plate and enjoy!
Store in an airtight cookie box for a few days.
